Annadan- Meals for the needy

Since September 2013, Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust has been providing healthy and pure vegetarian meals, snacks, tea, coffee, and biscuits to 1200 patients, every day at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. Trust has also made a waiting room facility for the relatives of the patients admitted at the hospital. Even during the pandemic of COVID-19, the Trust has continued to provide meals to Coronavirus patients and their family members at Sassoon General Hospital, Pune. Free Ambulance Seva

Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust has been providing free ambulance services in and around Pune since 1986. The ideology behind this service has been ‘Serving humans is equal to serving God.’ Patients from Pune Municipal Corporation can avail free ambulance services and patients from outside this region are only required to pay for the fuel. This service is provided at the Sassoon General Hospital and Lohegaon Airport. Apart from this, the Trust also provides free ambulance services during the Palkhi Ceremony. Pitashree Old Age Home

Pitashri Old Age Home was started by Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust in the Kondhwa area of Pune. Rural Development

Natural calamities not only destroy properties but dreams. Years of hard work gets destroyed right in front of helpless eyes! Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Trust has vowed to be a ray of hope for families who are affected by various natural calamities. Under the Nature Conservation Mission, 300 sq. ft. of area was allotted to 12 farmers who were affected by natural calamities at Nimgaon Ketki in Indrapur district. Pucca houses were built to shelter families. This initiative was launched in order to rehabilitate the farmers after a disaster struck their village. It also aims at building a better nation by building rural India where villagers are able to live a happy, safe, and dignified life. Education for the Underpriviledged

There is a student-parent scheme implemented under Dyanwardhan Abhiyan in which guardianship is promised to the students. This is facilitated to 550 underprivileged yet deserving students from 55 schools across Pune. Trust takes every measure to turn an ordinary student into an extraordinary human being. Through this initiative, Trust offers: • Counseling sessions to the students. These sessions are conducted by experts. • Complete study material to the students. • Medical insurance to the students. • Computer rooms and e-learning facilities. Water Supply in Drought - Affected Area

Trust has initiated an initiative to ensure water supply in the drought-prone areas of Maharashtra. Known as ‘Jalganga’ this initiative has given hopes to many farmers and villages. Water tankers are sent in the hard-hit regions of Maharashtra for a continuous supply of water. Even the activity of taking out the extra soil deposited in the dams is conducted under this initiative. Medical Camp

The Trust has always kept one foot forward when it comes to the holistic development of children. Trust offers guardianship to 550 underprivileged children across Pune wherein it looks after children’s education and beyond. To ensure complete safety and good health of the children, medical camps are conducted for the children. They are provided with free health insurance and counseling as well. Children are able to meet experienced counselors to talk about their mental health. Moreover, adolescent girls are provided expert guidance from health experts who guide them about their menstrual health and changing bodies. Trust aims at protecting its children thoroughly. Daily Darshan Pass

Devotees can now book the date and time of their Darshan in advance! The Trust as initiated an Online Darshan Pass Seva to enhance the Darshan experience for all the devotees. Devotees can book a specific date and time for their visit in advance.During the online booking procedure, they are requested to share their photo and identity proof which they must carry during the visit, along with the Darshan Pass.
